Summary

In this chapter, we have covered information related to security and document integrity when working with .pdf files. We learned how to protect a document with a password, and reviewed the cycles at the heart of the certification of documents and validation of signatures and signers’ identities. We created a new identity and a new signature and learned how you should use them. These are rather complex topics that only introduce the issues. Hopefully, a simplified presentation takes the mystery out of the concept.

In the next chapter, we will have plain fun. The title alone—Designing Multimedia Presentations—makes me think of playing with options in Acrobat that make you look good as a professional presenter. My favorite job!
