Affinity Designer has the unique ability to work both in vector and raster environments in one application. In this chapter, you will be introduced to Affinity Designer's unique concept of Personas. Almost like having three different applications in one, each Persona offers its own distinct set of tools and workflow. The goal of this chapter is to provide an overview of the three Personas and their general uses. We will cover the specific tools and panels of each Persona in more depth in subsequent chapters. Here, we'll touch on the basic differences and advantages of the Designer and Pixel Personas and when you should choose one over the other, or use a combination of both, in your projects.
