Using the Ruler, Marker, and Lyric Tracks to work more efficiently on Songs
As your Songs grow, it will become harder to navigate inside them. Trying to locate a certain point in a Song by constantly having to scroll through the timeline as you zoom in and out is time-consuming and distracting. The Global Tracks we will cover in this section are designed to help you navigate smoothly and locate important points precisely in any Song. While they are not the most exciting features in Studio One, they will definitely make life easier and allow you to remain focused on your work.
Being able to mark and locate important points in a Song becomes even more important when you work as part of a team and start sharing files among collaborators, as it allows every contributor to hit the ground running as soon as they open a Song.
