Adding architectural elements to a building’s exterior
Architects and commercial designers often show the exterior of the building, which helps our clients see the entire scale of the project. For interior designers, it is important to add architectural elements to a building’s exterior to finish out the design and show how the interiors carried the architectural and design styles from outside to inside.
Now that the roof is complete, let’s look at the exterior. How do you think you could update the façade of this building? Do you need to create items from scratch or download them from 3D Warehouse or a third-party site?
Click the Exterior
scene tab. Figure 6.42 shows what the scene would look like if you created the roof and coping in the Finding and using extensions section of this chapter. The FASCIA
tag is also visible.
