Setting up the training environment

The training environment is very important for the trainer to provide effective training to end users. Think of the times when you are receiving or providing training and the system may not be stable or you may not have the required data or access. This affects the end user’s focus and understanding of what they are learning.

These kinds of disruptions are completely avoidable and the following points will help us with this:

  • The training environment is built with the latest code base and metadata.
  • Trainers should create training data prior to training sessions (if needed, with the help of a business analyst).
  • Each trainer should have their own set of user profiles created for their training sessions.
  • Valid sample data should be preloaded when showing reports and dashboard functionality.
