Where do the forks live in your kitchen? I’ve moved house a surprising number of times, and my husband, Zack, dreads the process of packing and unpacking. I think it’s the perfect time to flex my systems and organization skills; meanwhile, he would prefer to throw things in a box and sort it all out when we get there. However, there’s one thing we do agree on – the kitchen is the center of it all, and it’s the place where a sense of intuition is crucial. Kitchens, like site headers, just shouldn’t be mysterious.
When it comes to unpacking our cooking and dining essentials, we have a process. I will get out a cup, a fork, a plate, and a bowl and stand in the middle of the space.
