Section 2: The Broader Architecture Landscape
In this part, we will focus on the broader architecture landscape and make sure you understand that software architecture is only a subset of it. As part of its activities, the software architect will interact in one way or another with many other types of architects. Each stakeholder has its own vocabulary and its own specific set of frameworks. I want to ensure that you are adequately equipped when interacting with your peers and stakeholders. I also want to introduce a generic methodology (ATAM) that is heavily used in the enterprise world and across different industries.
