Spending time teaching others

A productive and rewarding way to become a better software architect is to devote time to teaching other developers and software architects. When you teach others a particular subject, it deepens your own level of understanding for that subject.

In your preparations for teaching, you will be reviewing material and consulting others. As part of that process, you may learn something new or be reminded of something when you had forgotten. There is also a good chance that you will learn something from the people you are teaching.
