Basic forms
Basic forms in the Power Pages studio are data-driven configurations that allow end users to add forms to collect data on websites without requiring programming code. Basic forms are used to develop components for web pages and can support subgrids for building web applications. Basic forms are associated with web pages, and their properties control form initialization on the site. They require defining the target table, Dataverse form name, and mode (Insert, Edit, or Read Only). Configuration includes relationships to web pages, various settings for form behavior, and additional attributes such as geolocation and request validation.
