Plots with multiple dimensions or metrics

In Chapter 6, Creating Questions, we created the Orders per Day question and saved it as a line plot. We learned that our business has been steadily growing over time, which is great! Now we would like to learn a little more about this growth in orders. In particular, we want to understand how much of this growth can be attributed to Pick-Up orders versus Delivery. In this case, we're still interested in the same metric: Orders per Day. However, we want to see the metric broken down by two dimensions. Let's learn how we can create this question.

Creating a plot with two dimensions

Let's create our plot of Orders by Day, broken down by Pick-Up and Delivery:

1. Click Ask a question.
2. Choose Custom question.
3. In the Data section, choose Pies and Orders.
4. Choose Count of Rows in the Summarize section.
5. For the grouping variables, use both Created Date and Order Type. You can keep the time granularity of Created...
