Overview of Dynamics 365 portal

Dynamics 365 portal is an acquisition of ADX Portal. However, they are different in terms of features and deployment methods. Although the portals have been built on similar frameworks, this does not mean that anything supported in ADX would also be supported in Dynamics 365 portal.

Dynamics 365 portals allows clients to interact with customers and increase customer engagement in terms of audiences who are not part of Dynamics 365. This includes contacts (B2C) or accounts (B2B) of organizations. There are three main types of Dynamics 365 portals available depending on the Dynamics 365 audience:
