Summary
In this chapter, we walked through setting up and boosting a more consistent marketing presence in the form of a website with its own domain, which can serve as a home and face of your brand on the internet. This helps us increase our brand presence and identity. Specifically, we learned things such as how to understand the benefits of using a private domain and determined why you might want to select a hosted option versus a public domain. Additionally, we walked through how to do that through Mailchimp or another domain host depending on whether you already have one to work with.
We also learned how to create a website within Mailchimp; the different types of layouts; how to edit, remove, and add them; and how establishing this type of presence online will help us grow our audience while supporting our brand.
