Chapter 4: Your First Cross-Platform App
We started by learning how to set up a React Native development environment. After that, we went ahead and started learning about JSX, components, and props. We've already learned so much that we should be quite confident going forward. But if you still feel like something is missing, then you're right. We haven't styled anything, and we still haven't constructed a real screen.
This chapter will revolve around an app idea I had some time ago that constantly tracks your gaming history. We're not going to start discussing servers and databases as they are out of our learning scope, especially because we have bigger, more essential things to learn about. We'll start by detailing all the information about our app while using everything we've learned in the previous chapters.
