Installing GIT

Download the latest version of GIT installation as per the host operating system from http://www.vagrantup.com/downloads.html. After the download is complete, start the installation. The installation of GIT using this procedure is useful for Mac and Windows. For all Linux distributions, the GIT client is available through its package manager. For example, if the operation system is CentOS, the package manager yum can be used to install GIT.
