Launching the application

Launching the application is pretty easy and there are several ways to do it. The easiest way to run the application is as follows:

Open your App class (in our case, the DictionaryApp class).
Click on the Tornado icon near the line number.
Click on Run.

The following screenshot shows how to run the application:

The tornado icon is shown only if you have installed the TornadoFX plugin. It is highly recommended that you do install.
