Summary
In this chapter, we have learned how to create themes for our plots to have reusable attribute customizations. As always, we have focused on the Plots
package. We have also seen the basics of creating themes with Makie and Gadfly
. We usually use plot themes to define fonts, colors, sizes, and other esthetical aspects. While Plots
and Makie allow setting almost any attribute through their theming system, we can get even more flexibility with their plot recipe systems.
In the next chapter, we will look at the basics of creating plotting recipes with those packages.
