Business partners
The concept of business partners in SAP CRM and SAP TMS is almost similar in nature. Customers, vendors, and carriers are referred to as business partners in SAP TMS. Business partners are those that the organization does business with, and they can be categorized as follows:
- Business partners: Business partners could be customers, vendors, or carriers. This is a business partner that a company has a business interest in.
- Contacts: Business partner contacts are people who have been assigned to the business partner. These are maintained as a relationship with the accounts. The contacts are the customer contacts, and these are external customers.
- Employees: Employees are also people and members of a company that are responsible for any interactions with the business partner. These are internal company employees.
