Writing Plugins and Modules

Remember how you have been writing some simple plugins in the Nuxt apps since Chapter 3, Adding UI Frameworks? As we mentioned before, plugins are JavaScript functions by nature. You will always need to write custom functions to suit your situations in web development and we will create quite a few functions throughout this book. In this chapter, we will look into creating custom plugins in more detail for your Nuxt app, as well as custom modules. You will learn to create custom plugins in a Vue app and implement them in the Nuxt app. Then you will learn how to create custom Nuxt modules on top of plugins.
