An agreement is a mechanism to automatically create work orders on a timed schedule. This allows us to define recurring appointments for regularly scheduled maintenance. We will not be using agreements for standard break-fix issues.
You configure Agreements from the Field Service app in the Service Delivery area. Here, you have access to cases, which could generate work orders or agreements.
A typical Agreement configuration screen is presented as follows:
An agreement will have a duration calculated based on a Start Date and End Date.
Getting into the Booking Setup for the specific agreement, we have the capability to configure both the autogeneration of work orders and the ability to generate these work orders a set number of days in advance, in order to allow for client confirmation and other processes to execute.
