Preparing and exporting Civil 3D BIM designs to InfraWorks
As with all of our coordination requirements, we’ll want to ensure that all of our design models coming from all design authoring tools are geolocated and in alignment with each other. Setting this up earlier in the design process makes the sharing of models and integration into other products so much easier for us later on as we introduce new products and processes.
When it comes to multidisciplined designs where additional design authoring tools are being utilized, we can leverage products such as Autodesk InfraWorks to aid in many different areas and extend the possibilities of what we can do with our BIM designs.
