To get the most out of this book
To make the best use of the content in this book, a remedial understanding of AWS services and the AWS console is required. It is recommended that if you are working with production workloads, critical client data, or internet-facing capabilities, you should have a thorough understanding of AWS security as security concepts outside of Connect permissions themselves are not covered in this book.
Some CloudFormation experience is required. Although the CloudFormation work can be performed with any text editor, an IDE that supports CloudFormation syntax would be helpful.
If you are using the digital version of this book, we advise you to type the code yourself or access the code via the GitHub repository (link available in the next section). Doing so will help you avoid any potential errors related to the copying and pasting of code.
