What is a cybersecurity architect?
While we covered at a high level what a cybersecurity architect is at the start of this chapter, it is important to fully understand what the role entails. I define a cybersecurity architect as follows.
A cybersecurity architect is a specialized professional in the field of cybersecurity who is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive security solutions to protect an organization’s digital assets, information, and systems from potential cyber threats and attacks. Cybersecurity architects are strategic thinkers with expertise in various security domains, and they play a critical role in developing a robust and resilient security infrastructure that aligns with the organization’s business goals and risk tolerance.
