There is a wide variability among bivariate plots. Even if we have seen some of them, there are still some popular ones remaining. Bars, for instance, can account for bivariate data in more than one way. Also, there are line graphs, very popular among economists. Not to talk about hexagons plots, just like the one we glanced at Chapter 2, Plotting Two Continuous Variables.
This chapter covers these kinds of visualizations, bivariate bar chars, line and hexagon plots. Most of the recipes found in this chapter are focused on ggplot2, yet some recipes are carrying ggvis and plotly codes.
