The privacy challenges with the IoT are enormous, given the vast quantities of data collected, distributed, stored and, ahem, sold every day. Pundits will argue that privacy is dead today. They argue that consumer willingness to click eagerly through so-called end user privacy agreements compromises their privacy, with barely a notion as to what they just agreed to.
