Starting with CLion IDE

CLion is a paid, cross-platform IDE available for Windows, macOS, and Linux, developed by JetBrains.

That's right, this piece of software is subscription-based, starting from $99.00 (early 2024) you can get a one-year license for individual use. Bigger organizations pay more, and startups pay less. If you're a student or release an open-source project, you can get a free license. On top of that, there's a 30-day trial to test the software. This is the only IDE in this listing that doesn't offer a "community" or a stripped-down version available free of charge. Regardless, this is a solid piece of software that is developed by a reputable company, and it very well might be worth the cost.

Figure 3.1 shows how the IDE looks in light mode (the dark mode is the default option):
