Introduction

Nowadays, we can see the emergence of new sources of information that is stored or was stored in mobile devices' memory. The most well-known of them are as follows:

  • Google services that store information from mobile devices running Android OS
  • Apple cloud storage, iCloud, which stores data from Apple devices
  • Microsoft services that store information from mobile devices running Windows Phone OS

What are the features of these services? Owners of Apple devices are limited in the way they manage the data that is saved in iCloud. That is why, if a device owner deleted unwanted information from the device, it can be recovered from the iTunes backup, which is stored in iCloud. In the same way, image files and video files that were permanently deleted from devices can be recovered from iTunes and Android backups.
