Cloud security

The CDS runs on the Microsoft cloud as a service on top of Azure. The CDS inherits security, privacy, and compliance protections from Azure, leverages other security features to protect your data and apps, and assists in your compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other privacy initiatives.

Because the CDS runs in the cloud, Microsoft has enabled multiple security protections for your apps and data.
