Each step defines its inputs and its outputs. You can use the output of a previous step as input to a step using the Dynamic content tool:

You can search for dynamic content for outputs. The outputs are grouped by the name of the previous steps.
If you do not see Dynamic content, then zoom out in your browser until Dynamic content appears.
Clicking on the output field adds that output to the action step:

Dynamic content operates like a mail merge in Word, with the field stubs appearing as shown in the preceding screenshot.
You may need to combine the outputs, convert, for example, text to a number, perform a calculation, or apply an offset to the date. To do this, you need to use expressions.
