The data in Azure is always replicated to ensure durability and high availability. Azure storage copies your data so that it is protected from planned and unplanned events, including transient hardware failures, network or power outages, and massive natural disasters. We have already covered the different replication types that Azure offers for your storage accounts.
Storage replication can be set during the creation of the storage account. You can change the type of replication later as well by using Azure portal, PowerShell, or the CLI. To change this in the Azure portal, you have to perform the following steps:
