In the last chapter, we covered the most common uses of Exchange Online. There are, however, a number of more advanced topics that we lacked space for in a single chapter. Most of these topics won't be needed often by most tenants, and many tenants will not need them at all, but for the sake of the few who will, we've dedicated a chapter to the advanced Exchange Online sections.
Services that Microsoft has already stopped supporting and services that require tying your Exchange Online tenant to an on-premises server are outside the scope of this book and won't be covered, but we'll walk you through everything else. The topics that we'll cover here are:
