Technical requirements

In this section, and for this chapter, we're going to use our Ubuntu machine primarily.

Mostly, this is because Ubuntu comes with a lot of the more up-to-date elements we require out of the box, whereas CentOS has had a lot of things patched backward (back-ported) thanks to its long shelf life.
