Onboarding OMS agents

In this section, you will learn how to create an OMS workspace and how to onboard agents to the Azure Log Analytics workspace

Creating the workspace

First off, you have to create the workspace on which we will onboard the agents. To do so, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to the Azure portal and search for Log Analytics:

2. A new blade will be opened, where you can view the existing workspaces (if any). To create a workspace, click on Add:

3. A new blade will be opened, where you can specify the following:

• • Create New or Link Existing: Select whether you want to create a new link or link to an existing one.
  • Subscription: Select the subscription that will be charged for this service.
