The Kubeless serverless plugin

Back in Chapter 1, The Serverless Landscape, we installed the Serverless framework to deploy an AWS Lambda function; serverless also works with Kubeless.

If you didn't install serverless yet, here is a quick recap on how to install it on the three operating systems we are covering.

While every effort has been made to ensure that the following instructions work on all supported platforms there has been varying degrees of success of running the Kubeless serverless plugin on Windows-based operating systems due to compatibility issues with some of the dependencies required by the plugin.

For macOS 10.13 High Sierra, run the following command to install Node.js using Homebrew:

$ brew install node

If you are following along using Windows 10 Professional then you can install Node.js using Chocolatey by running:

$ choco install nodejs
