Beginning with APIs

The concept of the application programming interface (API) is gaining dominance due to its significant contribution toward exposing any application or service to the outside world to find and use its unique business and technical competencies. To enable application, service, and data integration, APIs are being widely recognized as the way forward. Data gets exchanged between different applications and services. There are mandates for bringing forth highly integrated systems. This means that a variety of third-party applications and backend systems have to be systematically integrated.
