Summary

This is the final chapter, and here we have presented a summary of the earlier chapters, and then discussed the main challenges faced by the existing DL techniques in resource-constrained and embedded IoT environments. We have discussed these challenges from both a machine learning perspective, and that of an IoT solution's components (such as IoT devices, fog computing, and the cloud). Finally, we summarized a few existing solutions, and also pointed out some potential directions for future solutions that can fill the existing gaps for DL-based IoT analytics.
