Let's now take a brief look at sorting data using pandas methods. In this chapter, we will be looking at sorting and ranking. Sorting is putting data into various orders, while ranking is finding out which order data would be in if it were sorted. We'll see how to achieve this in pandas. We'll also cover hierarchical indexing and plotting with pandas.
