Meet an experience design practitioner

The following entries were written especially for this book by practitioners whom I asked to describe, in their own words, what drew them to their domains of experience design, who were their influences, their work, and some words of advice, in case you are considering a career in the field. Experience design is a wide-ranging, dynamic field with constant change, and so, the stories are presented in the alphabetical order of their last names, to randomize the domains and avoid the stagnation of grouping.

Each of these individuals tells a unique story that unfolds their journey in their respective domains. Some are self-taught and others acquired formal education, some were drawn to design early on, and some traversed through other careers. Some are experienced veterans who witnessed the emergence of experience design trends, while others were still children and are making their initial steps in the industry.
