Assembling the robot


You will need the Mini 3-Layer Round Robot Chassis Kit assembled up to the top chassis layer, as discussed in the assembly instructions provided in Chapter 1, Getting Ready.

The following steps will guide you through assembling the other parts and wiring to build the complete robot.

  1. Take the FeatherWing Doubler (Figure 4.3). The FeatherWing Doubler PCB comes with the following things:
    • One set of Feather Stacking Headers
    • One set of Feather Female Headers

  1. Solder the Feather Female Headers to the FeatherWing Doubler PCB. Figure 4.4 shows the FeatherWing Doubler PCB with soldered Feather Female Headers:
