The need for change in lean-Agile EA

Enterprise architects significantly contribute to architecting the future state of a business by leveraging the power of innovative modern technologies. IT needs a broader end-to-end vision, strategic alignment, and improved business engagement to enable business agility. Besides, IT needs to adopt lean-Agile software delivery processes and practices to respond rapidly and flexibly to customer demands to continuously keep the business competitive. Agile enterprise architects perform an invaluable role in organizations embracing agility by balancing business and IT strategies by acting as a conduit for creating high cohesion between business and software development teams. The alignment between the business and IT is similar to the connecting bridge in the middle of the Petronas Towers.
