Summary

In this chapter, we have covered serverless and microservices. We covered Azure Function, Azure Logic Apps, and the main differences between them. We also covered Azure containers services and container orchestrations. We explained what Azure Service Fabric is and what API Management is. Next, we talked about when to choose to migrate your assets to the cloud and when to choose a cloud-native deployment model.

This concludes the design compute infrastructure objective and, in the next chapter we will proceed with the design networking implementation objective, starting with robust networking implementations.
