Events
CloudWatch Events can be used to track changes made to AWS resources. It may be useful for administrator to maintain a track history for the AWS resource scaling up or scaling down. Using this we can make sure that AWS resources are not being over used which may incur more charges or AWS resources scaled down which may impact application performance. So it is important to capture the CloudWatch Events and take appropriate action. We can create rules for Events, so that we can invoke the necessary actions or send notifications to concerned persons. Using CloudWatch Events, users can keep an eye on infrastructure changes so that they can compare between the old and new infrastructure and take the necessary action. This saves users time, as before we needed to write scripts which regularly checked the infrastructure, collected data, and stored it at some location.
