Customs duty are charges levied on goods when they cross international borders. It is a tax that is imposed on imported goods. These duties are charged by special authorities and bodies created by local governments and are meant to protect local industries, economies, and businesses.

Cancellation Policy for Published Printed Books:

You can cancel any order within 1 hour of placing the order. Simply contact customercare@packt.com with your order details or payment transaction id.

Return Policy:

We want you to be happy with your purchase from Packtpub.com. We will not hassle you with returning print books to us. If the print book you receive from us is incorrect, damaged, doesn't work or is unacceptably late, please contact Customer Relations Team on customercare@packt.com with the order number and issue details as explained below:

Currently, no tax is charged on the purchase of any print book (subject to change based on the laws and regulations). A localized VAT fee is charged only to our European and UK customers on eBooks, Video and subscriptions that they buy. GST is charged to Indian customers for eBooks and video purchases.

New titles are available for purchase up from two months before it's scheduled publication. During this period, you can pre-order a title at a discounted price.

1. Login to your account at Packtpub.com.
2. Click on "My Account" and then click on the "My Videos" tab to access your videos.
3. Click on the "Download Now" link to start your video download.

All modern operating systems ship with ZIP file extraction built in. If you'd prefer to use a dedicated compression application, we've tested WinRAR / 7-Zip for Windows, Zipeg / iZip / UnRarX for Mac and 7-Zip / PeaZip for Linux. These applications support all extension files.

If your video course doesn't give you what you were expecting, either because of functionality problems or because the content isn't up to scratch, please mail customercare@packt.com with details of the problem. In addition, so that we can best provide the support you need, please include the following information for our support team.

1. Video
2. Format watched (HTML, MP4, streaming)
3. Chapter or section that issue relates to (if relevant)
4. System being played on
5. Browser used (if relevant)
6. Details of support

In the event that you are having issues downloading your video package then please follow these instructions:

1. Disable all your browser plugins and extensions: Some security and download manager extensions can cause issues during the download.
2. Download the video course using a different browser: We've tested downloads operate correctly in current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari.

A subscription provides you with full access to view all Packt and licensed Books and Video courses online, this includes exclusive access to Early Access titles. Depending on the tier chosen you can also earn credits and discounts to use for owning content.

To cancel your subscription with us simply go to the account page - found in the top right of the page or at your subscription account page. From here you will see the ‘cancel subscription’ button in the grey box with your subscription information in.

If you cancel your subscription, you lose your unlimited access to Packt’s library and any credits earned as part of your subscription. You will still be able to access your account, and read or download any books you have previously purchased. Access will be removed at the end of your current term/trial.

Credits can be earned from reading 40 section of any title within the payment cycle - a month starting from the day of subscription payment. You also earn a Credit every month if you subscribe to our annual or 18 month plans. Credits can be used to buy books DRM free, the same way that you would pay for a book. Your credits can be found in the subscription homepage - subscription.packtpub.com - clicking on ‘the my’ library dropdown and selecting ‘credits’.

Keeping up to date with the latest technology is difficult; new versions, new frameworks, new techniques. This feature gives you a head-start to our content, as it's being created. With Early Access you'll receive each chapter as it's written, and get regular updates throughout the product's development, as well as the final course as soon as it's ready. We created Early Access as a means of giving you the information you need, as soon as it's available.

We try to ensure that all books in Early Access have code available to use, download, and fork on GitHub. This helps us be more agile in the development of the book, and helps keep the often changing code base of new versions and new technologies as up to date as possible.

We'll let you know every time there has been an update to a course that you've bought in Early Access. You'll get an email to let you know there has been a new chapter, or a change to a previous chapter.

The publication date is as accurate as we can be at any point in the project. Unfortunately, delays can happen. Often those delays are out of our control, such as changes to the technology code base or delays in the tech release. We do our best to give you an accurate estimate of the publication date at any given time, and as more chapters are delivered, the more accurate the delivery date will become.

Yes, all Early Access content is fully available through your subscription. You will need to have a paid for or active trial subscription in order to access all titles.

Early Access is currently only available as a PDF or through our online reader. As we make changes or add new chapters, the files in your Packt account will be updated so you can download them again or view them online immediately.

Early Access is a way of us getting our content to you quicker, but the method of buying the Early Access course is still the same. Just find the course you want to buy, go through the check-out steps, and you’ll get a confirmation email from us with information and a link to the relevant Early Access courses.
