Architecting dashboards
Architecting the appropriate visualizations that were introduced in Chapter 8 requires a bit of understanding of who the intended audience is for dashboards. Once there is an understanding of who the audience is, then the design and architecture phases of building a dashboard start to come into play.
Network-related personas
Personas are defined as fictional characters that represent the typical user of a product. In this case, the product is the dashboard that is generated. So, it would be a good idea to start to define who the personas are and give some names to the personas, making things more engaging:

When working with personas, you give each person a name to associate with them, and then the persona can be referenced by name rather than their role each time. The personas in an organization tend to last longer:
