Until WordPress 5.0, we used the classic editor to create and edit content in WordPress. The classic editor consists of a Visual and Text editor. The Visual editor shows the basic preview of the content while the Text editor shows the HTML tags for the content. The new Gutenberg editor is completely different from the classic editor. However, it also provides Visual and Code editors, where the Visual Editor purely runs on blocks.
